 FAQ - ABOUT WORKING WITH WORKGROUPS

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

  • Most of the initial work will involve thinking, sharing your opinions, maybe some research or planning, and probably meeting (Zoom or in person) once or twice. After you submit this form, a board member will reach out to you directly.

WHO IS IN CHARGE OF THE WORKGROUP?

  • Each Workgroup will be led by a Workgroup Leader (a Volunteer), and supported by one of the Board Members.

WHAT IS OUR OBJECTIVE?

  • The immediate objective is for each Workgroup to develop an idea or plan for something the Neighborhood could do to make "a better Baristo." Each Workgroup's ideas will be discussed at Board meetings and the General Annual Membership Meeting.

I'M NOT  IN PALM SPRINGS YEAR ROUND?

  • We understand that this is not uncommon, so meetings, even if held in person, will also allow for attendance by telephone or Zoom.
