What data is collected and how is it stored?

We collect basic contact data that is provided voluntarily and directly by the contact. The contact data is stored in our NOrg's Gmail contact database.

We collect email communications and correspondence which is stored in our Gmail database. Communication with Members and other stakeholders is an essential part of our purpose, and contact information is required in order to carry this out.

The Baristo NOrg will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send communications to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

BaristoPS.com is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Some data such as Membership and Survey forms may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

How do you communicate with your site visitors?

 

We communicate with Neighborhood Members and Supporters primarily by email. Our email recipients may respond “Opt Out” via email in order to discontinue receiving our email communications.

 

Our communications are intended to share the business, ongoing, issues, meeting agendas and minutes, planned events and other relevant documents that our Board of Directors deems relevant to the Baristo NOrg’s Members, as explained in our Bylaws.

 

In particular we communicate information sent to us by ONE-PS for the specific purpose sharing it with Members.

We further communicate through our website, BaristoPS.com, and periodically on Nextdoor.

 

How do you use cookies and other tracking tools?

 

The Baristo NOrg does not use cookies and other personal information tracking tools. Wix.com may use Essential, Notice Acceptance and Functionality cookies for security, stability, system monitoring and related purposes.
